It is the first Tuesday of the month. Thus, the PlayStation Store has been updated, and you can now download the free PlayStation Plus games for the month of August.
There are six free games this month, with a mixture of genres. One of the free games is the hit platformer Sound Shapes. This mixture of music and platforming received much praise, and is one of the more recommended titles for the month. The game will be available for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PS Vita.
Also available is Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris. The title released last December for the PlayStation 4. This Tomb Raider spin-off is a multiplayer-focused co-op action game. The Temple of Osiris is the second installment in the Lara Croft series, following Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light.
