Dark Souls is a harrowing experience. Anyone that’s played a game in the series, whether it be Demon’s Souls, Dark Souls, or Bloodborne knows that Hidetaka Miyazaki’s games require precise timing, enhanced knowledge of the game’s mechanics, and much forethought into how you build a character. Which is why there is now a Twitch plays Dark Souls stream.

The stream, titled “Can Twitch play DarkSouls?” has impressively managed to get a bonfire lit, as well as learning how to roll into walls and attempt to quit the game. They’ve died quite a few times already, and they haven’t even gotten their starting equipment yet, with the stream now a few hours in.

While it’s not clear whether this stream will have as much appeal as the Pokemon, having created a whole religion and mythology system based around our Lord and Saviour, Lord Helix, it will definitely be interesting seeing how far the community can make it. I’m personally waiting for the invisible platform portion prior to Seath the Scaleless’s cavern. Do you think the Twitch plays Dark Souls stream will beat Dark Souls? What area will you be most excited to see the stream attempt to navigate? Sound off in the comments!
