On September 9, Overclocked Remix released a free 58-track album dedicated to the soundtrack of Final Fantasy IX.
For those who’ve never heard of the site, Overclocked Remix (or OC Remix) is a site with thousands of remixes of video game music from thousands of games. Remixes vary in genre from orchestral, dubstep, or even metal.
The album, titled “Final Fantasy IX: Worlds Apart”, is the 53rd album by OC Remix and was worked on by over 50 artists. Many familiar OC Remix artists such as Mazedude, Level 99, and Fishy contributed to the work, as well as many new faces who joined the project out of love for the game.
