Joining Team Coast, who won their promotion series earlier today allowing them a seat in the North American League Championship Series, Team 8 is back on the big stage, and will be competing against top name teams in the 2016 North American Spring Split.
Team 8, who is currently being coached by Chad “HISTORY TEACHER” Smeltz, are back on the NA LCS stage going head to head with former opponents such as CLG, Team Liquid and now Renegades, featuring former Team 8 player Maplestreet, brother of former Team SoloMid jungler TheOddOne.
Team 8 has always been a very strong challenger team, so it will be fun to see them again in the NA LCS.
They will be playing in next year’s LCS Spring Split and will hopefully make it to the end of the series.
