Microsoft has announced that the new Xbox One Elite model is available for preorder. The console will be available for purchase starting on November 3rd, where it will be exclusively available at GameStop and Microsoft stores. The console will be available at other retailers at a later date, for example Amazon shows the Elite console will be available on December 1st.
The Xbox One Elite console will cost $500 and comes with a 1 TB SSHD. The SSHD will help the console run about 20 percent faster than the previous version of the Xbox One.
Along with a new console the Xbox One Elite model comes with the new Elite controller. The Elite controller features interchangeable parts, new buttons, and an overall better built controller. Microsoft has described the new console package as “the ultimate gaming experience”.
A new Lunar White controller was also announced by Microsoft. The controller will be a standard Xbox One controller and will cost gamers $65. The Lunar White controller is set to be released at the end of September.
