Phil Spencer, head of Microsoft’s Xbox division, has recently revealed on Twitter that new Xbox One backwards compatibility titles will be revealed on a monthly basis.
When a fan asked the Xbox boss when the next list of backwards compatible titles would be revealed, he replied by saying that “we will announce news monthly, don’t have a specific date for each month’s list.”
As of right now, 104 Xbox 360 games are currently backwards compatible with Xbox One. It is unknown how large each month’s list of new games will be, but Phil Spencer has already come out and expressed a desire to get as many titles on that list as possible. That requires effort both from Microsoft and the owner of the potential title.
