UK customers who pre-ordered upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops III will only be getting the bonus map if they dropped their cash off at high-street retailer GAME.

This exclusivity was not yet advertised by Activision, as it previously indicated that all UK pre-orders would gain access to the bonus, fan-favourite map.

UKVGDeals, an online UK deals website found that this exclusivity has been mentioned in one trailer for the Nuketown bonus map, however it was included in part of the fine print, which reads as follows:

“GAME-exclusive for Nuketown content applies to physical or boxed copies of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Standard Edition on PS4, Xbox One, and PC only, while stocks last.” This also mentions that the exclusivity will end in Spring 2016, so if this reveal means you miss out it’s not forever. You can read more in-depth at the UKVGDeals report here.

Sadly this is a case of a pre-order bonus being disclosed less than obviously. Normally, exclusivity for certain rewards is disclosed much clearer, appearing usually in press releases or more prominently in trailers to help sell copies at certain retailers or websites.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III releases November 6th on all platforms; Nuketown (stylized as ‘Nuk3town’) is only available on current-gen platforms.
