This weekend you can play Call of Duty: Black Ops III’s multiplayer mode for free, as well as get in on a sale for the title.
It has been announced that the multiplayer mode for Call of Duty: Black Ops III will be free on Steam this weekend. Gamers can head over to the title’s Steam page to get started. The free weekend will last until this Sunday, December 20th, and will end at 1 p.m. PST / 4 p.m. EST.
Along with being free for the weekend, Call of Duty: Black Ops III will also be on sale until Monday. You can pick up Black Ops III for $45 during the weekend, down from the normal $60. The Digital Deluxe version of the game will also be discounted, and will set you back $80, down from $100. The Digital Deluxe version comes with the base game as well as the season pass.
Call of Duty: Black Ops III is available on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. The title’s first expansion, dubbed Awakening, will release in early 2016. Awakening will be the first of four planned expansions for Black Ops III.
