Pokkén Tournament is set to release on Wii U in 2016 and with it will come an exclusive fightpad. Unfortunately, the controller is only set for release in Japan.
The controller features a D-pad, four face buttons, and various menu buttons across the bottom of the controller face. The fightpad is very true to fighting games in its lack of triggers and analog sticks.
Pokkén Tournament is set to release on March 18, 2016 on Wii U with unspecified dates in 2016 for other territories. The game will feature various Pokemon such as Lucario, Pikachu, and Suicune. The game features a three dimensional fighting plane, unlike most of its two dimensional fighting game counterparts.
