The four characters planned for the upcoming Kombat Pack 2 for Netherrealm’s Mortal Kombat X had been revealed a while ago. These characters include Leatherface, Alien Xenomorph, Triborg and Bo’Rai Cho. Now, we’ll get to see how exactly they play and what Netherreams has planned for this new pack of DLC characters. Alongside these characters, the pack will also contain skins for the ‘Kold War’, Brazil and Apocalypse packs.
Pack owners will also get access to Goro who was hyped up as the pre-order character before Mortal Kombat X’s release.
Let’s talk about the characters then: Leatherface is another member of the horror icon crew. With the inclusion of Jason and Predator in the previous Kombat pack, Leatherface arrives as the maniacal chainsaw wielder who slaughters his way through. The Alien Xenomorph appears to have used a member of the Tarkartan as its host. Due to this, the Alien has adopted the regular Baraka moveset with its own unique twist. The Triborg is an amalgamation of the classic three Lin Kuei cyborg ninjas Cyrax, Sektor and Smoke and because of that, his movesets can be selected between the three characters. Finally Bo’Rai Cho is the drunken master veteran who made an appearance during the Mortal Kombat X story mode. A dirty fighter to say the least is the description given to him.
The Kombat Pack does not have a defined release date, but it has been mentioned previously that it would appear in early 2016. So if you want some Alien or cyborg ninja love, or you want to finally pick up Goro and the various skin packs for characters, pick up Kombat Pack 2.
