PlayStation 4 users are in for another treat this weekend, as Sony has announced another free multiplayer weekend.
The free weekend is in celebration of Street Fighter V’s launch, but will allow you to access multiplayer for free on any title. The free weekend begins this Friday, February 19th at 12:01am PST and ends Sunday, February 21st at 11:59pm PST. Full details of the event can be found here.
Unlike the PS3, gamers who picked up the PS4 will need to have an active subscription to PlayStation plus to play online games. Previously multiplayer had been free for anyone with an internet connection.
Although Microsoft follows a similar business model, with online multiplayer only for those that pay, the service is at least reliable. Sony is known for unstable, and often inaccessible servers.
