Dark Horse has announced that its 180-plus artbook, The Art of Metal Gear Solid 5, will be released later this year.
The Art of Metal Gear Solid 5 is slated for a November 5th release, and promises “hundreds of pieces of never-before-seen” art. The book will be available at local comic book stores, as well as Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Indiebound. The book will set you back $39.99.
Dark Horse is also planning a limited edition version of the book. Limited to 400 copies, the special edition will be packaged in a “tactical slipcase” with exclusive art from illustrator Ashley Wood. Some may remember Wood’s art from the comic book adaptations of the first two Metal Gear Solid games.
Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is available on PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. A prologue for the game, entitled Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes, was released as a lead in to the Phantom Pain.
