EA has been giving away select Battlefield 4 DLC for free in order to help celebrate the upcoming entry in the franchise, Battlefield 1. Now, EA is giving away DLC from Battlefield Hardline as well.
Battlefield Hardline’s third DLC pack, entitled Getaway, is now available for free on PC and console. The DLC originally costed $15, but will be free for a limited time on Origin, Xbox Live Gold, and the PlayStation Store. Getaway includes four new maps, additional weapons and vehicles, and the Capture the Bag mode. You will need to own the base game in order to play Getaway.
Battlefield Hardline is available on PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. The next game in the series, Battlefield 1, will release on October 21st. The game will release on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The title is being developed by DICE, and will feature a World War I setting. You can check out the official reveal trailer for the game here.
