After the lackluster appeal of Street Fighter 5 and average critic reviews, Capcom has announced that they plan on focusing on finishing a game’s development before they release the game, even if that means delaying the release date.

“Some aspects of Street Fighter V needed more polish, such as the lack of content and server issues at launch,” stated a report by Capcom. “Accordingly, we feel it’s better to give a little more time to development than before, and have made slight adjustments to our portfolio.”

Recently it was reported that Pokken Tournament had outsold Street Fighter 5 in terms of physical sales.
