The Dead Island Definitive Collection features three games, but only one of them will be on the disc on the PlayStation 4 version of the title.
PS4 owners who make the purchase will find the remaster of the first game, Dead Island Definitive Edition, on the disc. However, the two other games included in the collection, Dead Island: Riptide Definitive Edition and brand-new spin-off Dead Island Retro Revenge, will have to be downloaded digitally from the PlayStation Network.
Comparatively, the Xbox One version of the same game will contain all three games on a single disc.
“You can’t just put two games on disc the same way as on [the Xbox One], the game’s Twitter account responded to a fan question. “PS4 discs don’t support multiple games, so there [sic] Riptide comes as a download code.”
