Owners of Hitman episode 2 have until the next 48 hours to hunt and assassinate the second Elusive Target.
The latest hunt has you tracking down and assassinating the target known as “The Congressman.” To those of you who are unaware, an elusive target is a limited time event that task players with hunting down and assassinating a unique target within a 48 hour time frame. Unlike other targets in the game, an Elusive Target will not be marked so you’ll have to use your eyes and your wits to take down these targets. You also only get one shot at taking them out so caution is advised.
IO Interactive describes Elusive Targets as “The closest thing to the Hitman fantasy that we’ve ever created. Each one is a custom-created character with their own backstory and their own unique reason for being in that location.”
The developer continues, “We call them Elusive Targets because they are added to an existing location for a limited time in real-time and you’ll only have one chance to take them down. If you kill them, that’s the way that you killed them. There are no do-overs and no second chances. When an Elusive Target leaves the game world, they never return.”
Players who manage to take out five of these Elusive Targets will be rewarded with the suit from the previous game in the series, Hitman: Absolution while completing 10 will give you the suit from fan favourite Blood Money so get to work assassins.
