A recently released infographic courtesy of Overwatch developer Blizzard has gone some distance in showing just how popular the beta for the FPS became during its running time. In a midst of facts and figures, perhaps the most fascinating statistic is the one that points out that the Overwatch beta had been played for nearly 10,000 years. Think about how long the game will be played for now that it has actually released!
Moreover, more than 9.7 million players battled over 190 countries worldwide. Needless to say, this is a game that has captured the imagination of gamers globally. The infographic also goes into detail on who the most popular heroes are in the game (Reinhardt is a personal favorite and I don’t seem to be alone in that regard as the tank has been played more than any other).
