Pokken Tournament will be receiving a Pikachu-themed gamepad.
The Pikachu gamepad is a variation of the original Wii U Pokken Tournament Pro Pad from Hori, who are known for their arcade sticks in the fighting game community. The gamepad features a yellow and black theme, with a silhouette of Pikachu in the middle. The gamepad will be sold exclusively at GameStop in North America. It will be released this weekend on May 7th, and will cost gamers $29.99.
Pokken Tournament is available for the Wii U. The game was developed by Bandai Namco, the same studio who develops the Tekken franchise. The game combines elements of the Tekken series with characters from the Pokemon universe. The game was originally release in arcades in July 2015, and released on the Wii U worldwide this past March. The title features 16 playable fighters, and 30 non-playable assist Pokemon who can be summoned to aid the player in battle.
