It has been announced by 505 games that the release date for Terraria on the Wii U will be June 24th in Europe and June 28th in North America. With the Wii U, players will now be able to take advantage of touch screen controls for easier building. In addition to this, the game will feature 8 person online co-op as well as 4 person local co-op. If you really want to show off your skills, there are global leaderboards and you can post your feats in the Miiverse.
Terraria may have been out for some years now, but it should find a happy home on the Wii U.
