To make a great deal even sweeter, if you pre-order Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20th Anniversary Celebration on the PlayStation 4, you’ll walk away with a free copy of the game’s predecessor, Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition.

An extra game is icing on the cake when it comes to this version of Rise of the Tomb Raider. Coming to PlayStation 4 on October 11th, Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20th Anniversary Celebration will include three new modes:

  • New online co-op play through the game’s endurance mode, a more challenging setting to see which teams are able to survive the longest and reach the top of the leader boards.
  • “Blood Ties,” a new segment taking place in Croft Manor, a location that exists in the main story of Rise of the Tomb Raider, but is only visible in cutscenes. “Blood Ties” will allow you explore the environment, learn about Lara’s history and solve puzzles. This mode will also be playable in first person through PlayStation VR.
  •   “Lara’s Nightmare,” also taking place in Croft Manor, will task players with defending the manor against an undead invasion in a horrible nightmare dreamt up by Lara.

We loved Rise of the Tomb Raider when it launched on Xbox One in 2015, saying “Lara’s latest round is a beautiful, engrossing adventure that stands out during this busy time of the year and deserves your time and attention. If you have an Xbox One, this one should rise to the top of the your list.”
