Last month, developer Hello Games had announced that they were already working on the first update for their upcoming title, No Man’s Sky. Now, a week before the title is set to release, Hello Games has announced that the update is complete.

On Twitter, Hello Games founder Sean Murray stated that the team has wrapped up work on No Man’s Sky’s first update. According to the tweet, the new update will include “lots of new features, balancing and content.” It has not been specified when gamers can expect the update to be released.

A couple of leaks regarding No Man’s Sky have surfaced recently. Last week, Reddit user “daymeeuhn” supposedly bought a leaked copy of the game for $1300. He quickly installed the game and uploaded video of the title running on the PlayStation 4, which had begun circling the internet. Also leaked were the game’s trophies for the PlayStation 4 version.

No Man’s Sky will release on the PlayStation 4 on August 9th in North America, and on August 10th in Europe. The game will then be released on PC on August 12th. The PC version was originally meant to release alongside the PlayStation 4 version of the game, but was delayed recently. No reason for the delay was given.
