For most of our lives, the every day person doesn’t ever get to really push their cars to the limit. Put the pedal to the metal and really fly. Unless of course your car is 20 years old and you have to push it just to go the speed limit. Racing games help give players the thrill of the race. There are many games on the Xbox One via backward compatibility that fulfill this rush. Now, they’ve gotten even better.

To help complete the sensation of driving a car with no holds barred, a regular video game controller does not always do the trick. That is why many racing game fans have gaming wheels that can attach to their consoles and really put you in the driver’s seat. With this idea in mind, the famous Microsoft Director of Programming, Larry “Major Nelson” Hyrb announced with a tweet that Dirt 3, Dirt Showdown, and Grid 2 will now support the Xbox One wheel, making the experience that much better.

Perhaps this will be a regular thing for racing games coming to the Xbox One via backward compatibility now. Hard to tell at this point, so we’ll just have to wait for another one to be released.
