Square Enix has announced that World of Final Fantasy will be receiving a playable demo next week.
The demo for World of Final Fantasy will release on October 17th in the PlayStation Store. In the demo, gamers will be able to play as Reynn and Lann in both their Lilikin and Jiant forms, and encounter various types of Mirages. Players will also be able to meet up with some of Final Fantasy’s more iconic characters, such Cloud, Lightning, and Squall. Those who complete the demo will unlock the Magitek Armor P in the Coliseum to battle and capture in the full game.
Also released was the game’s full animated intro, which can be seen below.
Last week it was announced that Rikku from Final Fantasy X/X-2 will be making an appearance in World of Final Fantasy. Announced in Jump magazine, Rikku is described as a free spirit, and works as a treasure hunter in the sea. The magazine also gave a brief look at three new Mirages. Ramyuh is the granddaughter of Ramuh, and will use powerful Thunder magic. Also shown was Phoenix, an L-sized Mirage, and Imp, an S-sized Mirage.
World of Final Fantasy will release on October 25th for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
