Bethesda and Arkane studios, in celebration of the opening of the early access for Dishonored 2 have released a beautiful official release trailer for the game.
The trailer is narrated by The Outsider, the shadowy god-like being that gives Corvo his powers in the first game. Emily Kaldwin has blossomed as Empress, bringing her land to a state of prosperity rarely seen, until she is suddenly and violently dethroned by Delilah Copperspoon, antagonist of the first game’s DLC packs, The Knife of Dunwall and The Brigmore Witches. She claims to be a long lost sister of Emily’s late mother, and forces Emily off the throne, straight towards being an outlaw.
“Reprise your role as a supernatural assassin,” the trailer describes, “As either Emily Kaldwin or Corvo Attano, travel beyond the legendary streets of Dunwall to Karnaca – a once-dazzling coastal city that holds the key to restoring Emily to power. Armed with the mark of the Outsider and powerful new supernatural abilities, hunt down your enemies and forever alter the fate of the Empire.”
Dishonored 2 launches everywhere November 11th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, but those who pre-ordered can play a day early, and also get a free copy of the original Dishonored: Definitive Edition, which comes with all downloadable content.
