The Last Guardian was first shown to the world over 6 years ago, with a beautiful trailer at the 2009 Electronic Entertainment Expo, or E3. After that, it was lost for many years. That is, of course, until it was reintroduced to the world at E3 2015. We are finally only a month away from playing this hugely anticipated title. With this wait being so long, players are going to want their experience to be as perfect as possible, so its going to need a little help from some new hardware.

Since the release of The Last Guardian went from 2009 to 2016, it has obviously moved from the PlayStation 3 to the PlayStation 4. Since it is being released after this month, there is a new piece of the puzzle to consider. One of the features that makes The Last Guardian so desirable is just how gorgeous the game looks. For it to reach its full potential, it will support the new PlayStation 4 Pro.

This was reported by Eurogamer and also stated that The Last Guardian will support HDR with a patch upon release. This doesn’t actually have any connection to the PlayStation 4 Pro, but will also help in making the game as pretty as possible. The Last Guardian arrives on December 6th.
