It has been 3 months since We Happy Few has had an update. While the title from Compulsion games is still in Early Access, the developers want to get it as close to perfect as possible. Of course something like a major plot hole would hurt that perfection. This is one of the many things that the latest update for the We Happy Few is looking to patch up nicely.

The Clockwork update, now out for We Happy Few on PC and Xbox One, answers one question that has been on players’ minds since the game was released. After is beaten up in the sewer, why does he wake up somewhere completely different? In the update version of the game, he will now wake up right where he was left off and the audience will get to see and experience just how that missing gap in his journey went.

Another large change, when you go to talk to a certain NPCs, you will go into a conversation mode. Almost like a small cutscene, players will no longer be able to attack, be attacked, or walk away while listening to what the characters have to say. This will help the narrative of We Happy Few flow much better.
