One of the most unique video game franchises to have a new beginning in the past few years has been Deus Ex. Set in a dystopian future, players take control of Adam Jensen, an ex-SWAT member who’s body was augmented to new heights after an attack left him for dead. With the success of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, players want to see more. Thanks to Square Enix and Eidos Montreal, that is exactly what they’ll get.
The second story DLC for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, being called A Criminal Past, has just been announced by developers. Set before the events of the base game, A Criminal Past will focus on Jensen’s first missions for TF29. With this, players will get some more insight into the lore surrounding their protagonist.
In this DLC for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Jensen will have to go deep into a high-security prison and find a fellow agent who has gone rogue. A Criminal Past will be released on February 23rd on Xbox Live, PlayStation Network, and online stores.
