Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Asura’s Wrath, and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night are among the this week’s best Deals with Gold discounts. Call of Duty: Black Ops III is the latest in the Call of Duty: Black Ops series. The game is notable because it marked the point where the Call of Duty franchise fully embraced science fiction, as can be seen in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

Asura’s Wrath is a unique beat-em up title that plays like an interactive anime show. The game relies on the sheer spectacle of its setpieces (one boss battle has players face off against a planet-sized enemy, and another fight takes place on the moon while Antonin Dvorak’s Symphony No. 9 in E Minor “From the New World” – 4th Movement plays in the background) and surprisingly well-implemented quick time events to deliver a gem of a game.

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is a PlayStation classic that stars the son of Dracula, Alucard. The game was highly experimental at its release, replacing classic linear Castlevania levels and branching level progression with a giant and sprawling castle players could explore to their heart’s content. Symphony of the Night was so successful that its gameplay style, dubbed “Metroidvania,” became the blueprint for future Castlevania games.

Xbox Live Gold subscribers have until February 13th to take advantage of these Deals with Gold offerings.
