Steven Spielberg is one of the most known film makers, creating classics like Jurassic Park, Back to the Future, and E.T. The Extra Terrestrial. With tons of awards under his belt, Steven Spielberg’s latest film has gotten a trailer.

The BFG, or, The Big Friendly Giant, (not “Big Freaking Gun”… or something to that effect) is based off of a 1981 award winning children’s book by the same name. The live action Disney film will feature Ruby Barnhill as Sophie, the orphan girl who befriends The Big Friendly Giant.

Later on in the film, Sophie will team up with The Big Friendly Giant and the Queen of England to stop CEGs. (Children Eating Giants) The book has been adapted into an animated film all the way back in 1989, and was also produced for stage in 2009.

The BFG is the latest from Steven Spielberg, and will certainly be family friendly. You can expect the film for July 1st, 2016.
