In recent months, there has been a lot of talk about the enhanced consoles, Xbox One Scorpio and PlayStation 4 Pro, and if they are really something the industry needs. Many lean on the side of better technology will lead to better games, but others still believe spending the money on a slightly new console will not be worth it. While each gamer needs to make that decision for themselves, new information on the PlayStation 4 Pro may help along the way.
According to a blog post from NeoGAF, Sony has cleared the air and stated that its newest console will in fact support the SATA 3.0. It was previously said that it would not be by SIE Executive Vice President Masayasu Ito, which led to some confusion on the subject. If in fact the PlayStation 4 Pro does support SATA 3.0, Sony fans will have a lot to look forward to.
With this, there will be much faster HDD connection speeds, making the whole device work much more smoothly. Also, the storage space will now be far greater than that of the regular PS4. Considering the amount of digital content these days, there is always room for more storage space.
The PlayStation 4 Pro will be arriving on November 10th.
