Deck 13 are revealing their next title at the upcoming Gamescom event.

On Monday, Deck 13’s publisher, Focus Home Interactive, announced that they would be revealing their new dystopian Sci-Fi RPG at Gamescom next month. However, they have warned there will be no gameplay trailer to view, suggesting it is early in development.

Instead, Videogamer have reported that Deck 13 will show off their new game at a closed-door event to journalists via interviews through Focus Home Interactive.

Previously, the new IP had been announced by way of a single teaser image released by Deck 13 themselves last month. Found below, it depicts a human figure augmented with a variety of futuristic tech holding a rifle of sorts. Alongside this, they claimed that this new sci-fi game will be a “premium action RPG” featuring “innovative combat techniques” and “an original character progression system.”

Demonstrating enthusiasm for the product, Focus Home Interactive Managing partner Cedric Lagarrigue is overall “one of the most exciting games to come in the future,” and has said the game recently completed the pre-production stage of development.

Their new title is scheduled for release currently in 2017 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

In other news, Deck 13 will not be directly involved with the direct sequel to Lords of the Fallen
