Bethesda are a company known for their integrity, only letting out details when and where they want, as was displayed in their reveal of Fallout 4 earlier this year.

Fallout 4 was something fans had been hoping and praying for for years now, perhaps even since DLC finished on Fallout 3. As such, it’s simply amazing that no details prior to Fallout 4’s reveal were leaked online, and since then we’ve only known what Bethesda have told us, nothing more.

In keeping with this tight-lipped tradition, Bethesda’s marketing executive Pete Hines has today shot down the possibility that more story details will be revealed in the run-up to Fallout 4’s release on November 13th. “I would be stunned if we said anything else about the story ever again (before launch)” Hines told IGN.

“We’re going to let everyone experience that in the game as much as possible” Hines continued. “But there are certain trade-offs you have to make to build some amount of awareness to what the game is offering, so you’re willing to make some sacrifices.”

Fallout 4 will launch for PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One worldwide on November 13th.
