Xbox executive Kudo Tsunoda discussed Microsoft’s console extensively in a new interview, saying that the Xbox One has “a lot more going on” than other competing consoles.

During an interview with Gamesindustry, Tsunoda offered his take on various aspects of the Xbox One, including cross-play and cross-buy that exists between the console and PC.

“It’s a really unique value that only we can offer,” Tsunoda said. “You still need very gamer-focused values, but there’s lots of things you can do with our technology. We’ve really got a lot more going on [than our competitors]. We’re doing things that can’t be done on any other console.”

He further adds that the value of Xbox’s console increases with the newly revealed backwards compatibility functionality coming later this year, saying that Microsoft is consistently “listening to the fans.”

“With backwards compatibility, it isn’t something that we just think gamers might want,” Tsunoda explained. “We know. We’re looking for and soliciting that feedback. It was the number one most requested feature for Xbox One by far.”

Tsunoda also touched on software, as he believes in the power of Microsoft’s upcoming fall lineup for the console.

“There’s a reason we’re able to put on two shows of content together,” Tsunoda said, referring to the company’s E3 and Gamescom press conferences. “We’ve got seven exclusives coming this holiday, and then everything coming in 2016. Not just the blockbusters, but the ID@Xbox games, the indie games. We’re giving people a lot more.”

“We’ve got a lot more exclusive games than any other platform,” he said, alluding to upcoming titles such as Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, Halo 5: Guardians, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Forza Horizon 6, and more.
