Activision confirmed the existence of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 today via its official Twitter account, stating “It’s official-Call of Duty Black Ops III is coming this year from Treyarch.”
Using the hashtag #BackinBlack, Activision also unveiled a brief teaser trailer, giving fans a glimpse of what they will be playing later this year:
Activision will host an official unveiling of the third installment in Treyarch’s sub-franchise on April 26. Details on campaign, multiplayer, and possible zombies, will likely be discussed.
Treyarch has previously published the original Black Ops and Black Ops 2.
