Today Nintendo announced a brand-new Yoshi Amiibo. The difference between this figure and other Yoshi Amiibo? This one is much bigger.
Today the Mega Yarn Yoshi Amiibo was announced. This Yoshi is a giant version of the previously revealed Yarn Yoshi Amiibo. The Mega Yarn Yoshi releases on November 15th, and will cost collectors $40.
The Mega Yarn Yoshi is compatible with Yoshi’s Woolly World, and activates “Double Yoshi.” When players tap the figure on the Wii U GamePad, a second Yoshi is brought to the game world which can be used at any point. It also allows players to save a Yoshi pattern on the figure. The standard sized Amiibo carries both features as well.

Yoshi’s Woolly World will release in North America on October 16th. The game will release on the Wii U.
