We’ve seen poster art already but the first footage of one of the main characters, Finn, wielding a lightsaber has been released.
The video was shared on the Star Wars instagram page and shows a glimpses of a few clips from the movie, including Finn in a standoff with the main antagonist Kylo Ren.
It has already been revealed that Kylo Ren is not actually Sith, though he does wield the standard red lightsaber.
In addition to this standoff we also see Rey and the BB-8 droid along with a shot of a quite impressive looking Imperial Army.
Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens is due for release on December 18th 2015. The Star Wars Battlefront DLC, The Battle of Jakku, will be released just before to coincide with the film.
