A listing has appeared on Amazon.com for Telltale’s next adventure game series, Minecraft: Story Mode, and it comes with the attached release date of October 27th.
While not yet officially confirmed Telltale, the release date would make sense given the extensive gameplay of the game shown off recently at PAX Prime, and the fact that Telltale’s two current games, Tales From the Borderlands and Game of Thrones, will both be ending with their finale episodes in the near future.
According to the game description on Telltale’s website, in Minecraft: Story Mode, “You are Jesse. He and his group of friends revere the legendary Order of the Stone; four adventurers that slayed an Ender Dragon… While at EnderCon, Jesse and his friends discover that something is wrong… something dreadful. Terror is unleashed, and they must set out on a journey to find The Order of the Stone if they are to save their world from oblivion.”
Amazon lists the game for $30, but also notes that, like Telltale’s other games, only the first episode of Minecraft: Story Mode’s five episode season will be available on the initial release date.
