The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has proven to be one of the biggest games of 2015. With high praise, the game has had extreme success. It seems this success has inspired some of The Witcher 3’s developers to go out and do even bigger things.

Chris Hardwick and Dan Cordell of CD Projekt Red have left the company and decided to open up their own studio in the UK. Wickerman Studios, as they are calling it, has an overall goal to “make games we want to play that nobody seems to be making.” According to Hardwick and Cordell, these are “pen and paper role-playing games,” sighting Dungeons & Dragons as an example.

Being a senior engine programmer and a environment artist on The Witcher 3, respectively, Hardwick and Cordell should have no problem making Wickerman Studios a great success.
