In Activision’s “Black Ops Fridays” livestream series, they recently revealed a new mode. The new mode is called Free Run. It is an asymmetrical mode that involves the player using the game’s new movement abilities to navigate time trial courses. The mode is quite reminiscent of Titanfall in the ways it asks the player to navigate its courses.
As the player finishes the courses, they get progressively harder. At higher difficulties, the mode has been described as “punishing.” The mode is also unlocked from the start with no need to unlock it. This sounds useful for players that want to get used to the new movement before hopping into the multiplayer.
