Hope has been renewed for a sequel for Alan Wake. Remedy, developer of the title has registered a trademark for something called ‘Alan Wake’s Return‘.

The trademark was filed on February 23 and suggests a return for the novelist-turned-hero. The domain name ‘alanwakereturns.com’ has also been taken by the developer under a proxy.

No official announcement has been made regarding a sequel, but the developer has previously released footage of a cancelled version of Alan Wake 2.

Earlier this month, Remedy and Microsoft announced the developer’s next title, Quantum Break, is slated for release in April for PC and Xbox One. Alan Wake and Alan Wake’s American Nightmare come with a pre-order of Quantum Break.
