Get ready to draw your blasters for the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront DLC pack, Bespin, featuring new additions like Cloud City and Lando Calrissian. Bespin is set to release on June 21, exclusively for season pass owners. All other players will have the opportunity to join the fight two weeks later.
In addition to the release date, EA also announced further details for the expansion on Battlefront’s official website, including the two new playable Heroes: “legendary smuggler Lando Calrissian and cold-blooded bounty hunter Dengar.” Both characters wield blasters and have new traits and abilities. Dengar comes equipped with a DLT-19, making him the first Hero packing a heavy blaster.
You’ll even be able to explore Cloud City and the Administrator’s Palace with the new cloud car vehicle.
Bespin will feature two brand new blasters as well. “Hunt enemies within the Bioniip Laboratories or carbon-freezing chambers with the new X-8 Night Sniper and EE-4 blasters.”
Further details for the DLC are expected to be revealed in the weeks approaching release. Bespin will be Battlefront’s second major map pack following the Outer Rim pack, which debuted in April.
