The sequel to Japanese sensation Yo-Kai Watch will release on September 30th, 2016 in North America, Nintendo announced today.
Yo-Kai Watch 2 will release in two versions, similar to Pokemon’s style, in the form of Burning Spirits and Fleshy Souls. Just like in that other Nintendo series where you find and catch monsters, each version of the game will have exclusive Yo-Kai that you won’t find in the opposite title.
New features in the sequel include a much, larger world based on an actual city in Japan, and a new 4-player local co-op mode. This mode, which is separate from the main game, allows players to play as Yo-kai to work as a team, where Yo-Kai will be part of different classes, such as healers, fighters, etc.
