Square Enix gave fans a looks at the Sephiroth summoning cut scene for World of Fantasy at this year’s Tokyo Game Show. The video was also posted on YouTube by Nova Crystallis this week. The summon pays homage to Final Fantasy 7 and features one of Sephiroths more devastation techniques, the SuperNova while his iconic theme, One Winged angel plays in the background. Death and destruction has never looked this adorable.
The Sephiroth Summon is available as a bonus for those who pre-oder World of Final Fantasy. The game was announced at Sony’s E3 press Conference last year. As seen in the video, the game will feature a chibi like art style as well as cameos from iconic characters from the Final Fantasy series.
As for combat, the game will have turn based combat that is reminiscent of classic titles in the series. It will also allow players to capture and train monsters that will aid them on your journey throughout the game. These creatures can be used to power up other creatures to create a more powerful party. World of Final Fantasy is a celebration of all the things that make the series great.
The game is set to release for PlayStation 4 and Vita on October 2th of this year.
