Time Warner, owner of Warner Bros. – which houses the gaming division – has had a good quarter financially.
The Warner Bros. division saw a 46% operating income boost to a staggering $341 million.
This has been largely attributed to the strong performance of both Mortal Kombat X and Batman: Arkham Knight, with both games getting a special mention.
Mortal Kombat had the biggest launch in the franchise’s history, and Arkham Knight was the best selling game in the US in June.
