In a whirlwind of big moves for The Pokemon Company, it has been announced that Pokemon Sun and Moon are getting their very own 3DS XL.

The new system is black, with white etchings of Sun and Moon legendaries Solgaleo and Lunala (confusingly, Lunala is so large as to have the edges of the etching clipped, but the system still looks impressive). It will cost $200 and be available October 28th, a full 3 weeks before Pokemon Sun and Moon’s November 18th release date. As such, it will not come with a copy of the game.

Nintendo marketing executive Doug Bowser said of the system, “This year marks the 20th anniversary of the beloved Pokemon series and people have never been talking about Pokemon more. Playing Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon on this new Pokemon system is the best way for fans to show their love for this iconic series.”

The games will also be available in an $80 dual bundle if you want both Sun and Moon– as each game will be $40, this is no discount. The perk to this bundle is that you will get a 100 Pokeball download for each of your copies.

Pokemon also recently released YouTube series Pokemon Generations, and continues to thrive in Pokemon GO.
