It has been announced that action RPG Portal Knights is coming to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Developer 505 Games announced that Portal Knights will be releasing on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on May 2nd in North America. The PC version of the game will also come out of Early Access as well. 505 Games revealed that the console version of the title will have the same content that the PC version has, and that both versions of the game will remain the same. The developer also stated that the plan going forward is to sync the updates for the two versions of the game as much as possible.
In Portal Knights, players pick a class and customize their character, and then travel between islands connected by portals. Players will have to fight fearsome enemies, as well as bosses called Portal Guardians. Gamers will be able to gather resources which can be used to craft a number of items, as well as build and furnish their own homes. Portal Knights can be played in a single-player mode, as well as with others in co-op or an online multiplayer mode.
Portal Knights is available now on PC through Steam Early Access. The game will release on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on May 2nd.
