Serious Sam VR has been a controversy for those excited for Serious Sam 4, and those against VR exclusivity.

Serious Sam VR: The Last Hope has been confirmed at E3, and many fans took to the internet to express their remaining interest in Serious Sam 4, which is still in development. Developer Croteam confirmed on Twitter that “Serious Sam VR is a fun side project”, with the main focus of development still remaining on Serious Sam 4.

On top of the development controversy(which was quickly shut down), the trailer for Serious Sam VR was branded with both Oculus Rift and Vive logos, excluding out other major VR retailers. For vans of VR, it’s frustrating to see the exclusivity that plagued the previous console generation so heavily.

Serious Sam VR: The Last Hope’s trailer doesn’t give us a lot to go off of, but it does get us comfortable with the idea what the game will look like through a headset. Expect more details within the coming months.
