The Ubisoft press conference wasn’t just host to video games this year, with Producer Frank Marshall showing up to talk about the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Film.
The latest movie to join the world of video game adaptions, the film features Michael Fassbender as the lead in the film. The adaption takes place in the Assassin’s Creed universe, but it doesn’t take any of the previously established characters.
New exclusive footage was shown off at the stage, giving insights those familiar with the game franchise will already know about. Discussing how the character being from the future, and making connections to his lineage, Fassbender described the action scenes as “massive”, and the movie having a rich history behind all of it.
