Rocket League’s Halloween event is making a return next week with another wave of in-game items to be unlocked for a limited time. These items are free and earned as random drops after completing any match, win or lose. These new cosmetic items include:
- Bone King Topper
- Ghost Topper
- Fuzzy Skull Antenna
- Netherworld Rocket Boost
The Halloween specific items are available in Rocket League starting October 18, and ending November 1. As a bonus, Psyonix is bringing back all of the 2015 Halloween items as random drops. These old items might not make a return for the next Halloween event as the developer writes, “But you’ll have to act fast — once the trick-or-treat season is over on November 1, all 2015 Halloween items will be gone forever!” The full list of free 2015 Halloween items coming back are:
- Calavera Antenna
- Candy Corn Rocket Boost
- Carriage Wheels
- Fuzzy Brute Antenna
- Fuzzy Vampire Antenna
- Pumpkin Topper
Psyonix recently changed how competitive ranks are determined to tweak the skill curve and spread out the player base across more ranks. The thresholds for some skill tiers, including Star and Champion tiers, have also been lowered, so returning players may see their ranks boosted anywhere between one half to two skill tiers.
