Publisher Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for its upcoming racing simulator, Project Cars.

The trailer, shown above, shows off the game’s stunning graphical fidelity, showcasing the game’s dynamic weather effects to its wide variety of car models to choose from. Developer Slightly Mad Studios says it is “the most technically advanced, beautiful, intense and authentic racing game on the planet that’s been tested, guided, and approved every step of the way by both gamers and real-life pro drivers alike.”

The game is currently slated to come out on March 20 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, running at 60 frames per second with a 1080p resolution on consoles. Bandai Namco also claims Project Cars boasts the largest track roster of any racing game to date, as well as a freeform career mode that allows you to choose your own path.”

  • I’m sure its tough to make a game look great, but what racing game doesn’t look fantastic? They all do. Plus this one has the next gen upgrades. Then seeing the in game racing, it just looks as good as everything else. The outside of game racing looks better. Oh and if a game wants to run at 60 FPS, lower the resolution 🙂

I’m just kinda amazed at how well the game looks at 60 fps because like you said there is always some sort of tradeoff like a lower resolution. But Project Cars looks amazing..
